3D stereo post services

HD Cinema has taken delivery on a new Genus Hurricane mirror rig. One of the most versatile stereoscopic 3D mounts, it can be used with a beamsplitter mirror for shooting talent and objects close to the cameras, but also convert to function side by side for hyper-stereo exteriors and scenery.

Designed by Alistair Chapman, the cost is kept low as the base unit we offer does not have motorized controls for camera alignment and adjustment. This keeps the weight of the unit down too so that you are not having to hire a heavyweight tripod system that costs more than this 3D rig.

The Hurricane rig with the beamsplitter mirror weighs 6Kg / 13.2 lbs and can hold camera/lens combinations weighing up to 4 Kg / 8.8 lbs. which makes it ideal for Sony EX1/EX3, Sony F3, Canon XF 105's, SI 2K mini's
